Terms of Use
These Terms form an agreement between you and SeaFog Lab ("we", "us"), the publisher of Widgee ("the App"), governing your use of the App. By installing or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
Licence
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the App or any part of it. Some material in the App — the word lists, typefaces and open-source software named in Acknowledgements — is provided under its own licence, and nothing in these Terms limits what that licence allows you to do with it.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you are below the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
User Content
You remain responsible for all content you add to your widgets, including photographs and text. You warrant that you hold the rights necessary to display such content and that it does not infringe the rights of any other party.
Health and Calendar Information
The figures, charts and dates the App shows, including Daily Health and lunar dates, are for general information. The App is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Speak to a qualified professional about your health, and do not rely on the App in an emergency. iOS decides when widgets refresh, so what a widget shows may be out of date.
Theme Icons and Configuration Profiles
Themes are optional. Installing a theme's icons adds a configuration profile, which you download through Safari and install yourself in Settings. The profile is not signed, so Settings shows it as Not Verified. It contains the icons and the links they open, and removing it in Settings removes them. The icons open other apps through links their makers do not document or guarantee, so an icon may stop working, or open nothing if the app is not installed. The names of other apps and companies, including Apple, Messenger, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, belong to their owners, who do not sponsor or endorse the App.
Third-Party Services
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring, services provided by Google, to receive crash diagnostics, release configuration, records of which screens are opened, and measurements of how quickly the App runs. Your use of the App is also subject to Google's terms for those services. The Privacy Policy and these Terms, which the App opens online, are hosted by Cloudflare. What those services receive is described in our Privacy Policy.
Warranty and Liability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App.
The App Store
These Terms are between you and SeaFog Lab alone, not with Apple, and SeaFog Lab alone is responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App, and no responsibility for any claim relating to it, including product liability, any failure to conform to a legal requirement, and any claim arising under consumer protection law. Should the App fail to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund any purchase price paid for it; to the fullest extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation in respect of the App. Where a third party claims that the App infringes their intellectual property rights, SeaFog Lab alone is responsible for the investigation, defence, and settlement of that claim. Your use of the App must comply with the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and with all applicable export control laws. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Termination
These Terms remain in force until terminated. Your licence ends automatically if you fail to comply with them, and you may end it at any time by deleting the App from your devices. The clauses covering user content, warranty, and liability survive termination.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time, whether or not the App is updated. The current edition is always published at this address, and the version and effective date at the top of this page identify it. Continued use of the App after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the Terms then in force. Where the law requires us to give you notice of a change, we will.
